The Movie and Me

I played Kunal, a photographer working in Miami.

Sameer and Kunal bump into each other while looking for an apartment to rent. However, the owner refuses to sublet it to them as her niece, Neha lives there too. Desperate for somewhere to live, Sameer has a wild idea. He convinces Kunal that they should pretend to be a gay couple so that they can be considered as tenants.

Their plan works and they move in, but all too soon, both of them have fallen for lovely Neha. But when her new boss, Abhimanyu Singh, also takes a liking to her, the friends put aside their rivalry in order to keep Abhi and Neha apart.

"Karan had told me that he would take the opening shot of the sea and I would come out wearing the yellow trunks. I asked him why 'yellow'? (I would have preferred black.) And he said, 'Trust me, I'll sell this film on these yellow trunks.' And he did. I'm told my beach introduction scene is 'iconic'. That's very nice to know."
